A Detailed Phoenix with Wings Anew, Ready for Flight is Shown here in Sterling Silver with Speckled Blue and Green Azurite Inlaid Wings. Pendant and 18" chain are crafted of sterling silver.
At the end of its life-cycle, the Fire Phoenix builds itself a nest of cinnamon twigs that it then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix arises. The bird was also said to regenerate when hurt or wounded by a foe, thus being almost immortal and invincible a symbol of fire and divinity.- Pendant is 7/8" in Diameter with a 3x5mm Bail Opening

I just received this pendant and I couldn't be happier with it. It's just right - not huge and gaudy or so tiny you'd never see it. It also comes with a nice quality snake chain, which is great - it seems so many cute pendants these days are sold on cheap chains. I was also very impressed with the service I got from Silver Insanity - I accidentally forgot to include my apartment number on my address, and was afraid the package would never make it to me. I notified them too late (they ship *very* quickly too!), but I got a prompt reply to my email, saying they would correct the address and re-send it as soon as the USPS brought it back to them. Not only that, but they offered to send a second shipment with the correct address immediately if I needed the jewelry by a particular date (i.e. - as a gift). In the end, the USPS delivered the package without the apartment number, but I was thankful to Silver Insanity for being so eager to help correct MY mistake :-) As a final bonus, the jewelry arrives in a cute little black velvet pouch in a small box with NO wasteful packaging/extra papers/advertisements/etc. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
Also, if you're into phoenixes and silver, I also recommend Silver Insanity's red phoenix ring.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my mother who appreciates all things Phoenix. The little bag was cheap and throw-away (supply your own) but the medallion was lovely. I had dinner with her a few nights ago and she was wearing the Phoenix and before I remembered I had bought it for her I reached out my hand to lift it up and said, "This is stunning! Where did you get it?" It looks really good when worn because it is small and tasteful but large enough to catch the eye.

Its nice, a pretty design, but am not sure it was worth the price. I have purchased heavier sterling silver items for the same price so was just a bit disappointed about that size, weight versus value thing when I opened it.

Let me start of by saying I LOVE this necklace, although it was smaller than i had originally intended it to be, it turned out to be just the right size for my girl, its nice and small not too showy and not to subtle either definitely an eye catcher. The phoenix holds a lot of meaning to the both of us and this pendant is really beautiful as she has green/blue eyes and the pendant has those colors in it. The product ships quickly customer service is amazing, i would definitely purchase here again.
